Monte Cristo Sandwich

6 tablespoons mayonnaise, divided
pinch nutmeg
pinch salt
pinch pepper
4 slices white bread
2 slices deli ham
2 slices turkey or chicken
4 slices Swiss cheese
2 large eggs
1/4 cup milk
Cranberry Orange Dressing

Combine 4 tablespoons mayonnaise with nutmeg, salt and pepper. Spread on all bread slices.

Arrange ham, chicken or turkey and cheese between 2 slices of bread, then top with remaining bread.

Beat eggs with milk with wire whisk in small shallow dish. Season, if desired, with salt and pepper. Dip sandwiches in egg mixture, turning to coat. Heat 12-inch nonstick skillet sprayed with nonstick cooking spray over medium-high heat and cook sandwiches, turning once, 5 minutes or until golden and cheese is melted.

Serve with dressing.

Cranberry-Orange Dressing

14 ounce jar cranberry orange relish
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup orange juice

Combine all ingredieents and chill.
