Onion Seasoned Rice

Long grain rice is simmered to tenderness in a rich beef broth.

1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1/2 of a small onion, chopped (about 2 tablespoons)
1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
1/8 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1 3/4 cups Swanson® Beef Broth (Regular, 50% Less Sodium or Certified Organic)
3/4 cup uncooked regular long-grain white rice

Heat the oil in a 2-quart saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the onion, garlic and parsley and cook until the onion is tender-crisp. Add the broth and heat to a boil.
Stir the rice in the saucepan. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 20 minutes or until the rice is tender.
