Mushroom Sauce

1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, cut in half
1/4 c. minced onion
2 T. butter
2 T. flour
1/2 c. heavy cream
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper

Sauté mushrooms and onion in butter until tender but not brown. Cover and cook 5 minutes over low heat. Push mushrooms to one side of pan and stir flour into the butter. Add heavy cream, sour cream and seasonings. heat slowly, stirring constantly, almost to boiling point. Do not boil.
