Broiled Grapefruit and Oranges with Brown Sugar


2 cups grapefruit sections
2 cups orange sections
1/2 cup light brown sugar
Marachino cherries for garnish (optional)

Arrange fruit sections on broiler proof individual plates, in a design, for instance every other one an orange. Sprinkle with brown sugar and garnish with cherries. Place under the broiler for approximately 3 minutes, or until sugar bubbles. Serve hot.

Microwave: Place the grapefruit and oranges on a serving plate. Microwave 2½ minutes until it is heated through.
