Smothered Chicken Sandwich


6 small boneless skinless chicken breast halves (1-1/2 lb.)
1 can (10-1/2 oz.) chicken gravy
1 pkg. (6 oz.) STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Chicken
1-1/2 cups hot water
6 slices white bread
3 cups frozen peas, cooked

COOK chicken in large nonstick skillet sprayed with cooking spray 3 min. on each side. Add gravy; cook 5 min. or until chicken is done (165ºF). Meanwhile, mix stuffing mix and water.

SPOON stuffing over chicken; cover. Cook 5 min. or until stuffing is heated through.

TOP bread with chicken and gravy. Serve with peas.

Cut each cooked chicken breast horizontally in half before placing on bread slices.

Note
Ingredients can easily be cut in half for a 2-serving version of this tasty recipe.
