Fudge Sauce


12 ounce evaporated milk
1 3/4 cup sugar
4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
1/4 cup butter
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt

Combine the milk and sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, to a rolling boil. Boil and stir for 1 minute. Add the chocolate and stir until smooth and melted.

Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
