Garlic Lime Shrimp


1/4 cup butter
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 cloves garlic; minced
1 teaspoon sugar
3/4 teaspoon lime peel; grated
1 pinch cayenne pepper
10 large uncooked shrimp in shells
2 tablespoons fresh parsley; chopped
  Salt; to taste
  Freshly-ground black pepper; to taste

Melt butter in heavy medium skillet over medium heat.  Mix in next 6 ingredients.  Sauté 30 seconds.  Add shrimp; sauté until opaque in center, turning occasionally, about 3 minutes.  Stir in parsley.  Season with salt and pepper; serve.

Serve with corn on the cob, crusty bread, and a salad of summery greens. For dessert, offer a strawberry tart.
