3 large eggs; slightly beaten
1/4 cup Sugar
1/8 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2 1/2 cups milk
Heat oven to 350°F . In large bowl, beat eggs, sugar, salt, and vanilla until well blended. Gradually stir in milk.
Pour into six 6 ounce custard cups. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Place in 13 x 9 inch pan. Fill pan with about 1 inch hot water.
Bake at 350°F for 4f5 to 55 mintues or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
Serve warm or cold. Store in refrigerator.
If desired, pour mixture into a 1 to 1 1/2 quart casserole. Place in a 13 x 9 pan, fill pan with about 1 inch hot water. Bake 350°F for 50 to 60 minutes.
