1 9 inch pastry shell; unbaked and pricked
1 cup hershey’s semi-sweet chocolate chip
1/4 cup Butter
1 can (14 oz) eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup biscuit baking mix
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup nuts; chopped
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Bake pastry shell 10 minutes; remove from oven. Reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees.
n small saucepan, over low heat, melt chips with butter. In large mixer bowl, beat chocolate mixture with sweetened condensed milk, biscuit mix, eggs and vanilla until smooth. Add nuts. Pour into baked pastry shell.
Bake 35 to 45 minutes or until center is set. Cool.
Serve warm or at room temperature with ice cream if desired. Refrigerate leftovers.
