Storing Radishes

If the leafy radish tops are attached, remove them before storing. Radishes don’t keep as well if their tops are left on.

Store unwashed radishes in an open or perforated plastic bag in a refrigerator crisper drawer that is separate from the one in which you store fruits.

Wash radishes and trim their roots just before using.

  1. OK, my radishes are already trimmed and washed (because I hadn’t gone to your website yet). My mom used to wash, trim and then put them in a bowl with water, then put in the fridge. Does this harm them? Should I just put them in a zip-lock and then store them in the fridge? ~ PK
