Green Peas & Mushrooms

1 cup water
2 cup green peas; fresh or frozen
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
4 large mushrooms; sliced
3  green onions; chopped
1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce

1 tablespoon salt; for boiling peas
1 tablespoon butter
