Brownie Drops

2 4 ounce packages baker’s german sweet chocolate
1 tablespoon butter
2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup pecans; finely chopped

Melt chocolate and butter over hot water. Stir. Cool.

Beat eggs until foamy, then add sugar 2 tablespoons at a time. Beat until thickened, about 5 min. Blend in chocolate. Add flour and dry ingredients. Blend. Stir in vanilla and nuts. Drop by teaspoon onto greased baking sheet.

Bake in moderate oven (350) until cookies feel “set” when very lightly touched – 8-10 minutes.
